Hedera weekly news wrap-up - November 18, 2022

While the market continues to absorb the FTX news this week, the Hedera ecosystem, builders, partners, etc. are heads down, building the trust layer of the Internet and a number of incredible applications running on it. DLT continues to reshape the way we do business, engage in community, and control our own destinies online. While the days may feel long, the years are short, as distributed ledger technology continues to go mainstream. In addition to this week’s news, I wanted to share this week’s Gossip About Gossip podcast, where I talk to Hedera’s Deputy General Counsel Gregory Schneider about the shift in NFT marketplaces towards doing away with required royalties to creators, and how Hedera empowers creators to codify royalties at the protocol layer.
